I’ve been lazy this week with regards to my work outs. Only two runs and two push-up sessions. Bah. But, I did still run yesterday and as any runner will tell you: a short run is better than no run at all.
It was a quick little aside: 3 km in 19 minutes. Then I came home and did 120 push-ups in 5 minutes. I would have liked to have run a bit more but dinner was waiting and so I compromised by pushing myself to run faster with a shorter distance.
I may go for an evening run tonight depending on how I’m feeling. Otherwise I’ll just consider this week a bust and start fresh next. The hotel has been crazy these last few weeks building up to Canada Day weekend (one of our busiest) so if I have to slow down a bit, I’m ok with that. It’s not like running is going to disappear, it’ll still be there waiting for me when I need it.
